Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cosmic software, the Cosmic website, secure launcher, downloads, documentation, support channels, and all related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Cosmic ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, purchasing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

Definitions

  • "Cosmic" refers to the company operating the Services and all associated branding.
  • "Software" means Cosmic External, the Cosmic launcher, installers, updates, and related components.
  • "License" means the right granted to access and use the Software for a fixed term after a one-time purchase.
  • "User," "you," or "your" means any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Services.
  • "License Term" means the fixed access period purchased at checkout (for example, 7 days or 30 days).
  • "Payment Provider" means any third-party processor used to handle transactions on our behalf.

Eligibility Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase or use the Services. By using Cosmic, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend access, or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility standards or violate these Terms.

License Usage

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Cosmic grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on supported devices for personal, non-commercial use. Each license is intended for use by a single authorized user unless otherwise stated at purchase. License keys must be kept confidential and entered only through official Cosmic channels.

License Terms

Access to Cosmic External requires a valid license purchased through checkout. Each purchase is a one-time payment for a fixed license term (weekly or monthly duration as selected at checkout). License benefits begin upon successful payment confirmation and key delivery. When your license term expires, access ends unless you purchase a new license. We may modify plan features, pricing, or availability with reasonable notice where required by law.

Billing Policies

All fees are quoted and charged in the currency displayed at checkout. Each purchase is a single, one-time charge for the selected license term. There are no automatic renewals or recurring billing cycles. Payments are processed according to the selected payment provider's requirements and policies. License Expiration

Your license remains active only for the term purchased at checkout. Cosmic does not automatically charge your payment method when a term ends. To continue using the Software after expiration, you must purchase a new license manually through checkout.

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Generally, license fees are non-refundable once access has been granted and the Software has been substantially used. Limited exceptions may apply for initial purchases within the stated review window. Contact support@cosmic-panel.xyz to submit a refund request.

User Responsibilities

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your license key and account credentials.
  • Use the Software only on supported operating systems and hardware.
  • Keep your contact and billing information current and accurate.
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
  • Report unauthorized access or security concerns promptly to support.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for their intended purpose and in a manner that does not harm Cosmic, other users, or third parties. Acceptable use includes personal access through licensed software, participation in official support channels, and downloading updates through authorized distribution points.

Restrictions

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Software.
  • Do not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share license keys without written permission.
  • Do not bypass licensing, authentication, update, or security mechanisms.
  • Do not use the Services to distribute malware, conduct fraud, or engage in unlawful activity.
  • Do not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, logos, documentation, and materials provided through the Services are owned by Cosmic or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. Unauthorized use of Cosmic branding or proprietary materials is strictly prohibited.

Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk. Upon termination, your license to use the Software ends immediately. Expiration of a purchased license term also ends access unless you purchase a new license. Refunds for the current term are governed by our Refund Policy.

Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using Cosmic, you consent to the data practices described therein.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COSMIC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COSMIC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, including features, pricing, supported platforms, and availability. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cosmic operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction as required by applicable law.
